Pair of Georgian brass candlestick holders, likely dating from the mid 1700s. Feature include a candle lip to deter dripping, and freely moving extraction push rods. On the underside of the base we see pitting and chattering on brass surface, suggesting they were manufactured using sand cast moulding, followed by polishing using a lathe.
