Merrimans Fine Art and Antiques is a new store located in Victoria, BC. Merrimans is based exclusively online, with a plan is to move into retail space in Langford in the near future. As such, items can be viewed in-person by appointment, and payments can be paid using e-transfer, cash and bitcoin. Delivery is available anywhere on the Island.

About the Name:
Merrimans was the name of our family house in Borough Green, England. Though sadly sold now, Merrimans was the most charming rural Georgian house, with several acres of cobnut orchards, and the quientessential Kentish oast houses doting the skyline above the rolling green hills.

Our Ethos...
Merrimans began with a few basic ideas in mind: That beyond their aesthetic qualities, antique furniture & art can endow a living space with character and a sense of history. They provide a connection to our culture and heritage, and by caring for and preserving these items, our homes gain a deeper meaning with a living narrative.
There is a joy in learning to appreciate the craftsmanship and cultural significance of these items that, despite their convenience, the mass produced and low quality items so prevalent today can never provide.
By curating and preserving items from our past, we are able to pass on to future generations a legacy of valuing quality over quantity, and appreciating that there is great value in the act of preserving.
