A diminutive, turned-wood pot, probably the type used throughout South / East Asia for storing opium.  Either Indian or Chinese origin, being made mid 19th Century.
Displaying great handiwork, the shape was made by turning, while the interior was carefully gauged out. Comes with original stopper. Measures 3” W x 1” H
